DJ Player Pro Privacy Policy

Prerequisites

  • Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.
  • DJ Player Pro is an application + connected web services ("DJ Cloud").

Personal Information

DJ Player Pro DOES NOT:

  • Collect, store, transmit or handle personal information.
  • Access your address book, social, email or other account data.
  • Use any location service or data.
  • Use or handle any advertisement technology, advertisement or unique device identifier.
  • Send push notifications.
  • Store Dropbox or Deezer account information. They use OpenID token authentication, which effectively prevents this.

DJ Player Pro does collect, store and transmit crash logs using the HockeyApp platform. We are using this data to deliver a better experience. A crash log DOES NOT contain any personal information or unique device identification.

We only collect personal information that you provide us with voluntarily and deliberately, e.g. by registering for our newsletter on this website (DJ Player Pro doesn't have such feature). The only personally identifiable information we collect about you are your name and your email address. We will not sell, copy or transmit your personal information to anybody ("third parties"). We are not interested in that business. We keep this personal data until you delete it.

DJ Cloud

Purchases are handled with App Store receipt data. The DJ Player Pro app sends them to our webserver. The App Store receipt is heavily encrypted and is not readable by us. We are not able to retrieve or conclude any data from the App Store receipt.

Our webserver sends the App Store receipt to Apple's servers for validation, which returns with transaction data. The transaction data does not contain any personal information or App Store account identifier. We are handling and storing the transaction identifier, the purchased product identifier and the expiration date only.

Users are identified by a user identifier. User identifiers are bound to transaction identifiers and created using an internal counter. It's not possible to connect any personal information to our user identifiers.

We are not able to connect a user identifier to an App Store account. We are not able to contact customers, we don't receive, store or handle such data.

DJ Cloud stores your track ("song") identifiers, artist names, song titles, bpm, beatgrid and cue/loop point data. Storing them safely is the main feature of DJ Cloud. We don't receive, store or handle any data that can be used to connect this musical data to a single person.
